Ok, @bear @Annette, misleading, but there you go.
Buyer beware in future. If anyone knew support/upgrade was an addon, and that only the main software license was lifetime and lifetime didn’t apply to support/upgrade, they should not be surprised about this new change now then?
While I knew support/upgrades were an addon, I thought I could always use it with the “lifetime” license and never thought they could drop support/upgrades for a minute. If I knew that, I likely wouldn’t have bothered because what’s the point of having a “lifetime” license if you cannot use the new features from new versions of the software. Pointless. Just glad I didn’t pay too much for the license at the time and got my money’s worth out of it already. A shame for others who have to pay hundreds/thousands more per month though.
Again, buyer beware in future. When you buy a “lifetime” license, check if lifetime support and lifetime upgrades are included, too.
